Thanks for all the help and information. I think we will go to a portable grill that uses the 1 lb green propane bottles that will give us more flexibility at the campsite.

We had to finally get rid of ours after 5 years or so, it split and was turning black inside. So off it went to the dumpster and a new one from the store made things taste pretty good again.
