I think that the auto level would work much better if it were to run the pump at half speed then I think it would not jerk as bad or not at all when it preformed the automatic operation

In our Georgetown 335DS the ATS does engage (click) when plugging into Shore Power.. I have never been out side by the relay box to know if it clicks when I start the generator from inside the cab...

90% of the time it's caused by the ground...

90% of the time it's caused by the ground connection to frame gets corroded. Just clean the connection and tighten... good to go...

Sounds like you have a solenoid valve seat leaking.. should not be very hard to replace. I think they are attached to the reservoir assy
