Finally talked to someone from Forest River and basically was told I'm out of warranty. I'll call again and see if I can talk to someone a little higher up and see where it goes.

The black cover just snaps on but it probably has caulk around it holding it on. After the cover is removed you'll see the screws that hold the light assembly on.

Yea, I had the same thing happen on our 2017 29 hfs, had it strapped down and it still bent the arm. I was lucky enough to find a nearly new arm for $150, it looked new to me but was labeled as used.

Yup, that's it, I think they're plenty bright, that fact they also light up blue is a cool feature, it goes along with our accent and step lights.
