I don't believe there is a newer generation...

I don't believe there is a newer generation without the design flaw. Ours was is a 2021 trailer and it had the same old problem.

The 300 has a hollow plastic bowl that flexes and creaks when you sit on it, the 310 has a solid ceramic bowl that is silent when you sit on it.

Our 300 was a double tragedy as our camper is brand new and I had to concede that my wife was right and I was wrong ("you're just imagining the smell, it's a brand new trailer, I'm sure it's fine")....
