And we all know if you go 1# over payload, GVWR,...

And we all know if you go 1# over payload, GVWR, etc the vehicle will literally fall apart. That's why you see so many cars with 5 or 6 200# people in them sitting along side the road with the car...

That's why they put brakes on the trailer. The trailer also has to be able to stop itself, hence, the "break away switch".
