Corvettes are, or at least were, the same way. Different size tires front and rear. But, we would get 40,000 miles on the tires. They were $350 each in 1990.

For those oversized travelers buying two seats is very uncommon. Actually, buying a first class seat would be a better option as the seats are a little larger.
