I figure with around 2500lbs pin weight, another ~250lbs for the hitch won't matter much. No different than me walking into the bedroom really.

I don't have a picture that shows it clearly enough right now, and the hitch is in the truck at the moment, since we're hooking and unhooking a lot with weekend trips.

I just use a ratchet strap...

Just make sure the truck is straight in front of the trailer, and lower it back into the holes. It's maybe 50% more of a pain than regular hitching, so really no big deal.
