Actually I just recalled now it was my hot water...

Actually I just recalled now it was my hot water tank element that was causing my problem along with the un-grounded adaptor.

Great advice. I had the same issues and tried everything. I finally changed my adaptor plug and realized there was no third grounding prong. The new adapter solved the issue.
