After determining that your incoming power is ok...

After determining that your incoming power is ok then start troubleshooting. Look for burnt wires, loose connections, etc. Check voltages under load, etc.

Gearhunter, don't panic Yet! I'm assuming you have 50 amp service and a 50 amp receptacle. Even though your unit unit only uses 120 volt circuits a 50 amp receptacle actually DOES have 240 volts...
