Just a thought to consider...

If you do need a spare, you're looking at a 12-year-old tire.

Our 2006 Tahoe has a full-size spare. All five wheels are identical and have TPMS sensors. I got new...

No!

I beg to differ. The math is correct.

What you are really questioning is the assumption of pressure that could be achieved during fill of a gravity fill tank.

If someone had a pressure-fill...

Not carbureted any more

Doug, that philosophy is what we all used to practice for carbureted engines. It doesn't make sense for fuel-injected engines.

For fuel-injected engines, at each cycle, the fuel injector opens for...

Incipient firefighting

Don't even think about using that extinguisher for anything beyond a grease fire in a skillet on the range (and a pan cover works better there anyway). Just get out--fast as you can. That little...

I remember a variation of this one. Our 1995 Lumina minivan V6 engine had that peculiar ignition system with three ignition coils. Each coil fired two plugs in series, so that the spark occurred...

This is a sample of one, but we were plagued with mice until we identified the real entry point (alongside propane tubing to range/water heater) and used ample steel wool to mitigate. We also used...
