Drop hitches and Toads

I have a 2017 Georgetown 351DS and towing a 2010 chevy malibu with a blue ox Alpha tow bar. If I get the 8" dual hitch drop the tow bar will have about 3/4 of an in downward angle. If I get the 6" dual hitch drop I'll have about 1 an 3/4" incline on the tow bar. I can get a 7" drop but then the bikes and bike rack stays home. Kids wont like that..... so I dont know which is better to have. An incline or drop on the bar. Either one puts me within the 3" deviation of level recommended by Blue Ox. What to do ?

I'd want to be as close to level as possible. Personally, I would opt for the 3/4" downward angle.

I am not an expert but i would also suggest a downward angle as long as you have toad brakes which you should, if not I would probably go with the upward angle

You could call Blue to to confirm

Actually I just re measured and I had it backwards. A 6in drop gives me 1/4" up angle. 8 inch drop gives me 1 an 3/4 down angle

I’d go with the one that gives you the 1/4 inch. Closer to level so should be better overall. Just my opinion though.
