In doing a diagnostic wiring search for a "non-existent" propane problem (propane burner would not fire......water not cool enough......duh-uh ), I noticed the wire from the inside propane switch goes to the propane thermostat. The wiring diagram in manual shows that it should be...
We have all the iOS devices - iPad's iPhones & iPod's and I wanted to install a couple of 15W USB outlets as well a couple 12V outlets in the TT.
Wandering what others have done to install these types of items to their 12V system. Where is the best source other than coming from the battery...
So I have the same annoying loud buzzing coming from my converter that others have reported. Only when on shore power and no load. Turn on 40W of lights and it goes away. Turning off the AC breaker to the fridge makes it go away too (presumably the 12V load the fridge draws to run gas mode)...
looking for pros and cons for towing 5th wheels VS travel trailers.
Anyone?
personal experience for towability (spelling?), parking, hitching, weights with half tons, etc...
My Chevy 2500HD not only has two batteries, but also has two 125 amp alternators. I have not yet figured out if they are simply in parallel, or if there is some form of isolation.
I am thinking that I should be able to use a bunch of that 250 amps to charge the batteries in my new 5er. Can...
Dealer closed so no leave on vacation Thursday. We just got our new/used 5th wheel. We have a Pro 16k Hitch with a sidewinder on the trailer. No mater what we try we cannot hook up. Its the Wedges that keep stopping it from going all the way back into the hitch and sits on the edge / top of the...
Hi, I lost my original log in . I was Rockinwood a few years back, but glad to be back, our unit we all know, the Concertone, needs to be thrown into the trash, wanted to know, what you have replaced it with..thanks
The motor went out on our 9100 dometic power awning, it was under warrany so we took it to have it fixed. We have no Forest River dealers in our town anymore so had to take it to another dealer. They put a new motor on it and when we got it home, (should have tried it there) the rocker switch...
I have a 2012 Flagstaff Classic 425D and when it's closed up the Radio/DVD player is still on stand by ? It drains the battery completely if I don't remove the 25amp fuse next to the battery. Is there a way to turn off the Radio/DVD without pulling the fuse ?
Thanks
Sorry, I'm a newbie.
Is the fridge supposed to run all the time? Hooked to AC sitting beside the house. It never cuts off. The temp in the freezer runs around 0.
Just came back from our second camping trip and was wondering if anyone had a simular experience that the hot water tank shut off and trips the reset. If I shut it off and turn it back on, everthing is fine, the hot water tank goes on. Is this normal? I keep the water tank on the whole trip, is...
Glad to be on this site. This is our 2nd year in our 2011 v-cross. Still learning and figuring things out. Started tent camping then pop up and decided to move up to ty. We love to camp and go as much as possible. Just returned from a week at drummer boy campground in Gettysburg PA.
We have been RV camping now for 5 years but I never realized there were sites like this can extend our camping family. Gee where have I been?
Our first camper was an older toy hauler and we went to NASCAR races, we decided we liked it enough to invest more in a newer model and just a month...
Hello all!
Decided last month to go camping with my brother and his family. My wife, Kids and I had a great time and decided to trade my new camaro on a diesel pick up and we are picking up a new Heritage Glen 312QBUD on Friday! In case I post some dumb questions please forgive the "green...
I am trying to figure out the weights of a 1998 20' Sandpiper. Looking to purchase my first toy hauler and want to make sure my truck can handle it. I drive a 2012 F150 5.0

I'm looking for information about how some folks have solved the issue of wobbly dinette tables in the MINI-LITE trailers. There was a lot of discussion a couple of years ago about this but I haven't been able to find out what the original participants did to solve the problem. If stevieboy...
We are having difficulty cooking without popping the shoreline main breaker. It seems we can not run the a/c, TV, microwave oven and a toaster oven without it tripping. Also, running a blow dryer and the microwave or the toaster oven causes problems. I have a sunseeker 2860 30 amp circuit and I...
Bear with me whining a bit here.
Just wanted others to take note of the quality of the cable and satallite input covers on the outside of the trailer. Talk about flimsy. The first time I opened it the covers hinge (just plastic) was already broke in half. Very poor design. I know there are...
I am brand new to this so forgive me if I don't do something just right. I am thinking of purchasing a new rockwood 8293RKSS from RVWholesalers and I would like to know if anyone has had any experience with the "nationwide service network". I might not be posting this in the correct place. Let...
We were coming back from our second trip with our new camper when it started to rain heavily. My husbacd turned on the lights in the truck and the trailer brakes locked up. My husband had to shut off the brake controller for the rest of the ride. We have a 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500 and pull a...
