2003 Surveyor Converter Problems

Hello. I have a 2003 Surveyor and the converter is overheating and smoking when on shore power.

I expect I will need to replace it.

It is an ELX-60.

Any recommendations?

That is a CONverter, not an INverter.
A 2003 Surveyor won't have a factory INverter.
Contact Best Converter for a good replacement.

The 60 indicates it is possibly a 60 amp model

When looking for a replacement you can choose any brand 55 to 60 amp

Never replaced mine so can’t recommend any brand

But others here like the precision dynamics ones
