Don't know if I'm in the right place but got a problem on 2014 Forest River sunseeker RV so the batteries went bad and replaced them from there it's been one thing after another the convertor went bad replaced it but for some reason on shore power it won't keep the batteries charged it doesn't even seem to try they just steadily drop I'm talking like a .1 drop every 10 mins when watching the multimeter Id love if someone could point me in the right direction

It could be one of three things:
  1. A battery cell going bad. When they go bad, there's very little charge--it's used up quickly. Since all the cells are in series, this weak link in the chain affects everything.
  2. Batteries really aren't charged.
  3. A really big load
First thing to do is check the battery charge state. With shore power off at the circuit breaker or unplugged, take your voltmeter/multimeter and put it across the terminals of each battery in succession. Each should read 12.6 volts if fully charged. 12.1 is about half-discharged and is as low as you should ever go--damage results if you go lower.

Next, apply power to the converter. If the batteries are not fully charged, it should jump to 14.4 volts or so. Once again measure at the batteries. (They should all read the same voltage.) If they are fully charged, they should read around 13.1 volts or so.

If you got here, batteries are charged, converter is working. 0.1 volt drop every 10 minutes means there's a lot of current flowing. There's a good chance that you can isolate the load by simply grasping the wires/cables one at a time and seeing which one is warm.

Let us know what you find and we can provide further guidance.

My first thought is your "new converter" is not working.

If you are on shore power and turn off you battery disconnect do you still have lights?
What is the voltage at the battery with the battery disconnect set off? (should be below 13v)
What is the voltage at the battery with the disconnect set to on and the converter on shore power? (should be above13v)
Disconnected from shore power what is the batter voltage when the engine is running? (should be above 13v)
