Anyone with a 14 replace tires yet?

Ours look good still however they are dated 3213 so just past the 6 year mark with 24k on them.

Anyone switch to Michelin’s or anything else? I’m assuming all the legacy’s have the Goodyear 670’s as standard tire.

We have 24k miles on them since we bought the Coach new in December 2013. Tread looks good and don’t see any cracking but we are now in that 6+ year range.

Just wanted to see how others handled this

Do you store your coach inside/out of sunlight?

It’s been inside for 75% of the time when not being used. only use the coach may-November. The one year stored outdoors in offseason tires were covered.

I can't speak for anyone else but I'll probably go beyond the 6 years. I store my MH inside other than while traveling. I also have remote TPMS sensors on every tire and closely monitor both temperature + pressure.

As long as I don't have cracks, dryrot, flat spots, or outward appearance of damage I'll probably stick with these up to 10+ years.

Bought ours in Jan 2015, chassis was built in Dec2013. Tires look and ride fine with 34,000 miles. Was surprised to find most of the tires are dated 2012, and one is 2010. Monitor with TPMS and I rarely have to add air. Planning to replace next year. We’ll probably put less than 10,000 miles on this year. Going to Freightliner Factory Service Center next week and will get their opinion. Our coach is outside year round

We’re at 48,000 miles and tires are still looking good. I don’t want to push my luck so, thinking they may be the “big ticket” item next year.

That is surprising to have a 2014/15 build with 2010 tires.

You have a 2014 like us, your tires stamped 13?

Our 2015 has the Goodyears with 34K on them and they look great. Date stamp on the tires is Nov 2013 so they are going to get changed this fall. Already have a local quote on Toyo same size as original, likely go with those. Lots of friends with them, way less expensive than Michelin.

I’m guessing these Toyo tires are the m122 and not the m154?

Tire life!!!!

My 2014 Legacy coach had Goodyears but only had 22000 mile on them before bubbles ?belt separation on the same left rear outside tire. When I purchased the coach I had the same tire bubbled. I've replaced them with Bridgestones and have no issues?

....mine were dated '13

Question for all of you, any reason we can upsize our tires to the 255 80 22.5?

I ask because I’m wanting to go with the Michelin XRV tire and it isn’t offered in our oem size. They only offer the xre in our size and is more of a regional truck tire with firmer ride and more rolling resistance.

Thoughts?

I thought so too. I’m wondering if the dealer changed a tire before they sold it.

After visiting the factory for a day some time back it is easy to see why. FL buys the tires at their factory. Sit in inventory until chassis build. Chassis is sold to motorhome upfitter (Forest River) and a train load of chassis are shipped and sit in their back lot awaiting build. Chassis could sit there for months until a dealer places an order, then the rig is built and shipped to the dealer. Sits on dealers lot until sold. All this could take 18 months by the time you actually see your rig.
