New to us is the 2017 Sunseeker 2430 GTS . There are few items we do not know what they are or how to use them.
1. How do we locate an owners manual for the backup camera? The camera worked fine for all the test drives and the trial overnight trip that was 200 miles from home base. Now, nothing, no lights, put it in reverse and nothing. This camera's monitor takes the place of the original mirror for the Ford cab and is hardwired in. On the remote is printed Monitor Mobile.
It was installed at the factory in Elkhart, IN.
2. There are 2 small black boxes on the dash , one is located on the far side the other on the far passenger side both next to the windshield.
We have a mysterious leak . When it rains hard we find a puddle in front of the galley sink, We checked the floor with a level and it is a low spot in the floor., The leak doesn't appear to be coming from the roof, there are no indications like stains or soft spots. The seals seem to be good on the large slide out. I stayed inside during last rain and no water came in while the slide was all the way out, but did come in when it was all the way in, there was indication of small reflective splash onto the floor in bedroom and some, but no idea where it came from. Any help here is welcome.

Suspect your backup camera system is from Rear View Safety. Maybe this manual link:
No clue on the black boxes or the leak.
Thank you for the response. This is not the correct one. All the controls on the hardwired in monitor are on the passenger front side of the frame or on a tiny remote which only has a circle in the center and four arrows witch are located NSEW around it and a power button.

Pictures of the slide in and the relationship with the low spot/water on the floor, ceiling vents/ac might help

Are there 2 locations where you're seeing water? Please provide picture of that too and it's relationship to sidewalls/ceiling vents/ac

Thanks

We have a 2018 Sunseek 2430S, so we’ll have some similar products within. However, please know that Forest River uses components from a variety of suppliers even in the same model year.
1. As for obtaining owners manuals, three is another member here on the forums that works at Forest River, and helps with the motorized division within the company. He’s known as karykatz. If he drops in here, he’ll want your Sunseeker VIN number, which is NOT the VIN of the Ford found at the base of your driver side windshield. Your rear view camera brand has a remote?
2. These black boxes on your dash COULD be aftermarket modifications from a previous owner. Can you provide pictures?
3. Have you checked underneath the kitchen sink in great detail? Aside from your water heater, there’s all the plumbing for the sink and plumbing heading towards the bathroom too.

We have an owners manual from FR, not much help. Radio, combo Navigation and one TV are Jensen. The rear view mirror replaced with a factory installed backup camera which is hard wired in, it has rear and both side views and a remote. The brand on remote for it is Mobile Monitor.
The black boxes I figured out are for the GPS. The leak only occurs when the slide is in. Thought it might be the seals, but they are in good shape. The only thing can think it might be is the slide doesn't go all the way in on one corner. So will try to re sync, Schwentec is a horrible design for a large slide. We had a very bad wind, rain and marble size hail storm yesterday. Our rig is sitting in our front yard. We were out of town when the storm hit and the slide was out. There was no water inside . Three days ago we had a rain storm and the slide was in, we had a fairly large area with water on the floor, deeper in the area in front of the sink and stove area of galley and some that looked like a trail running from under the slide a small amount on the floor along the trim edge where floor transitions to the higher level.

1. Manufacturers owners manuals are rather generic. Not a lot of help. Your situation is not unique.
2. My in dash radio is a Pioneer unit. Radio, CD, Bluetooth etc…..no GPS. (I use a separate Garmin that I’ve had for years).
3. My TV is Jensen. No issues.
4. I installed my own aftermarket wireless rear view camera.
5. My slide is a SlimRack brand. No issues to date. 🤞
6. For your water leak….obviously with the slide in…...I would test with a garden hose. I suspect water is entering along the top, but it trickles down to appear at the floor as you describe.

First thing done was use the water hose, even with a mid-range setting on pressure washer around the top no leaks. After removal of slide topper awning still no indication of leaks. No roof areas wet, damp, stained etc. only thing found that was off was when slide is retracted the bottom corner closest to drivers door does not go in as far as the rest of the slide.

When the slide is retracted……get a small step stool and good lighting to really observe the weather seals along the top of the entire slide. The top of the slide SHOULD BE relatively clean. If not…..it may indicate a water trail in whatever dirt you see.

I know I can retract my slide even in the rain, and it’s almost always dry, indicating that my seals are tight and flexible enough to do their job.
