Just recently purchased a new e-pro; love the RV. As we are breaking it in I noticed a problem with the water filling up the fresh tank while connected to city water.

I connect the RV to city water and verify the pressure @45lbs (I have a water regulator /w gauge). Water started leaking out of the winterizing connection. Almost a trickle. Under the bed, where all the plumbing is I noticed the water pump has 3 pipes before the pump itself. One is the fresh water tank, another is the winterizing pipe and the other am not sure but guessing the shower saver loop back. The winterizing pipe had a value on it in the open position. I closed it and the leaking stopped. Thinking all was fine hours later I noticed my fresh water tank was full. Emptied tank and went to bed. The next day the tank was full again. At this point am thinking the water pump is letting water flow backwards but not sure.

Any suggestions?

Just reading some other entries and it looks like running the pump for a tank or so might fix it. Going to try that.

More then likely your check valve on the pump is leaking. True off the city water start your pump (make sure there is water in the FW tank) allow some water to flow secure pump and open city water that should reset the check valve.

An often discussed issue on this forum.

Many times a piece of construction debris (shavings) or a piece of sand in the pump's internal check valve will make this happen. Too high water pressure can do this too but you indicated you are using a regulator so that's good.

Follow the advice SeaDog gave and try to reset the valve.
