2021 salem cruise Lite issues after battery died

Bought a 2021 forest river salem cruise lite that had a dead battery. Replaced the battery and the main fridge and freezer has power but isn't getting very cold (even after adjusting the settings. There is a small outdoor kitchen fridge that is working just fine.

The awning also isn't working and doesn't make any noise when pushing on the toggle switch. However the switch for the slide works just fine. All fuses appear to be good.

When speaking to the previous owners they said the fridge and slide functioned normally before the battery died.

Any recommendations?

What make/model is your fridge and is it a propane/electric model, residential or 12v?

Have you checked all the circuit breakers and fuses in your control panel? Sometimes changing a battery results in a blown fuse near the battery itself.

Welcome to the forum!

Can you please post a pic of your battery terminal connections. There is a very important reason I'm asking this.

Honestly my old camper had a switch to move it from gas or electricity..this one doesn't have that. Here is a picture from in the fridge.

Welcome to the forum, I see you have just a few posts!

The photo you posted of your indoor refrigerator is 12v only. No LP option on that model. There are also LOTS of threads documenting the issues with those 12v models. I suspect your outside refrigerator is 120v and nothing more than a small dorm type unit.

The awning could be any number of things, including you forgetting to reinstall a wire on the battery, a 12v circuit breaker, a motor or even the switch. If you didn't test any of these things when buying then you are simply taking the previous owners word they worked. Maybe they didn't!

Things like the awning and refrigerator can begin to be diagnosed with a multimeter. Do you own one and know how to use it?

it is a everchill 12v fridge only works on battery
or shorepower + converter

it will drain that battery within a few hours

since this is a new trailer to you...
I would give the trailer a quick check with a multimeter, start measuring voltage at the:
battery
disconnect switch
12v breakers near the battery/disconnect switch
Fuse panel (fuses)

test the converter ... disconnect battery and connect 120v do you get lights inside?

---------------------------------------------------------------------
if the fridge runs but does not get cold
test seals

is there a control in the FREEZER set it to mid point

there are posts and videos of people cutting extra openings inside the fridge, so more cold air is allowed in ... never needed to do this

--------------------------------------------------
when the trailer is at home I connect a 120v extension cord + a 30amp adapter
to keep the battery charged ... and the fridge running all the time

+ can run the air conditioner set at 85 to deal with the humidity in FL
