I just want to speak to a human being concerning our brand new 2024 Salem Cruise Lite Platinum that we have owned for 2 months and have had nothing but issue after issue and the dealer is a joke. I am tired of sending emails and leaving voice mails and getting nothing back

Here is the warranty and service manager for the Salem Division. His name is Dean Bleile;

Dean Bleile Warranty Manager dbleile@forestriverinc.com.
PH: (574) 534-6127 x 10917.
Wish i could assist more but I'm at the Berkshire Diesel Division in warranty.

That number went straight to a voicemail also. I have left message this morning already and sent an email Saturday morning. No one responds.

I went to my inbox and it doesn't show anything new. How do I find the pm?

I tried sending you a pm. I still haven't received yours. If you get it I will add the info you requested then

The site team pulled your public area post including your email address … computer users around the world can see it and we don’t want you to start getting spam emails from Bangladesh or Lubbock,Texas!

Someone needs to figure out how to get in contact with me. To top off the slide, the versa tilt bed, the struts on the bunks, the stabilizers. It is a nice day outside so I turned the air off to spend the windows and door and the storm door won't latch. Probably a good 1/2 inch between it and the wall where it is supposed to latch. This thing is a piece of crap

Since this Forum has no affiliation with Forest River Incorporated, there's not much members here can do, other make suggestions.
Luckily there are members here from the Motorized divisions, who have tried to help but they can only do so much.
How close are you to the Salem factory?

I don't know where the salem factory is. We are on vacation in it for the 1st time right now

Grasping at straws on your problem:

New owners frequently try to level the trailer with the stabilizers which will twist and bend the frame and cause problems like you describe. Trailer should be leveled side-to-side with stuff under the tires and front-back with the tongue jack. The stabilizers should not have any weight on them.

If you're not doing this with the stabilizers: Great!

We're kind of getting off track of the original posters issue because Peachy87 piggybacked onto an existing thread instead of creating a new one.
Maybe the site team will move the associated messages to a new thread?

Peachy87... you said your dealer is a joke.
Unfortunately, Forest River wants them to be your 1st line of communication.

Did you have these issues before taking delivery?
Did they not do a proper PDI/Customer Orientation before signing and paying?
Did you do a pre-camp trip in your driveway to check items or did you purchase and head straight out on a trip?
Can you tell us who the dealer is so others can steer clear?

Yes we did a walk through test with the dealer. The slide stopped and the guy told us he hit the wrong button. Our camper was plugged up, leveled and setup at our house. After a week of the slide being opened we went to close it to table the switches because there us no labels and the slide continuely jerked trying to shut. We called the dealer Adventure Camper in Almo, KY. We took camper back, they had it almost 2 weeks and said they changed the relay. Got it back home all setup again slide opened fine. Sat there another week. Went to make sure the slide would clear closing with the ottomans we bought to go in front of the couch. Again the slide jerked and stopped repeatedly. Called the dealer again. Took the camper back this time they had it another week or so and replaced the switch. Got it back home. They told us to video what it was doing if it did it again. Week later Friday night we went to close it and it jerked and stopped 12 times trying to close. They kept having us do it more and video and send it. Plugged up and then off the battery. Then about 8 pm the motor completely stopped with the slide tilting outwards. They wouldn't come check it out told us we would have to call a mobile tech and pay for it and they would try to get us reimbursed for it. We ended up watching a video on how to manually close the slide. NOR EASY. Got it closed took it back. 3rd time. This time I also emailed Forest River. After getting an email back from Forest River Dave who told me dealer was suppose to run some test and then if nothing was wrong replace the motor and then an email from the dealer that said Forest River told them to replace the motor and they had rush ordered it i said that isn't what Forest River told me. We had a conference call dealer did some testing and replaced a reset able fuse. So far the slide has worked. So Forest River warranty was charged at least 2 possibly 3 times for warranty work not necessary. When the dealer replaced the fuse they threw our stuff up under one of the bunks and broke the strut that raises the bunk. Didn't bother to fix that we noticed it when we got home. Fixed it ourselves. This is now the versa tilt bed 1st night camping went to bed and it collapsed. No we hadn't slept on it at home. Dave from Forest river has called and gave me info for a mobile tech and waiting for a return call from them. We had a camper before this it was a 2021 Forest River Cherokee. We had it for 3 years and never had any problems
