2104S Mini Lite 2024 model Leaking connections

Hi All, My first time posting a new Thread on this forum.

I brought a new 2024 Forest River Mini Lite 2104s in July this year. I have used it several times and have enjoyed the space for a 22 foot camper.
However I noticed water on the floor, which I found coming from the kitchen sink and bathroom sinks hot and cold connectors to the faucets. the connections are tight. So rather than take it the 300 mile round trip to the dealer I'll try putting thread tape on the connections from the faucet to the
water supply connections.
I called Forest river to see if they had any recalls on the connectors or service information, because if mine all leak others probably have the same problem as well.
I did find out there is a recall on the refrigerator venting, which you need to have them verify at the service department.
Q/ anyone else have these problems and how did you fix them. With thread tape or replace the faucet or water supply connectors or dealer repair?

Check the gaskets in the connectors, it's a pretty common failure point. Super easy to get to, just twist the fitting loose from where they connect to the faucet. I found that in my bathroom sink they were installed incorrectly and after a year or so they started leaking. If they are badly deformed, you may need to get new rubber washers, but in my case I was able to install them properly and tighten them up.

If they are wrong like mine were, tightening them won't do a thing as I found out on my own.

Make sure the water is off before you take them loose!

I'll try putting thread tape on the connections from the faucet to the water supply connections.

Thread tape is for tapered pipe threads. Threads do the sealing on these.

I may be but I can not think of any other connection where tape is used for the sealing. Willing to learn.

Other fittings, flares, compression, gasket, etc tape is just a hindrance.

Thanks all, I will check the gaskets, was also wanting to see other peoples experience with the 2024 Mini Lite.

Just had leak under sink in bathroom. Remove some panels under sink to get to the water lines. Mine are threaded too fixtures. I tightened by hand and the leak stopped. When I called my dealer they said it’s been a problem lately. New 2023 mini lite 2513
