We currently just have the bare bones number tube in back and I need to find a way to install a tow hitch that I can then mount a motorcycle onto. Anyone have any thoughts? Class III or IV as bike weights 540lbs
Thanks in advance.

PLEASE don't attach a hitch receiver to just the bumper. You need it welded and braced to the frame and bumper. Even with that, it may still fail since TTs don't have shocks, that's a heavy bouncing load and it will affect the loaded tongue weight.

^^^^I have to agree. Not a good idea.

Pic is a buddies recent build with a nice motorcycle spot just behind the cab. 20220507_171645.jpg

Thanks gents. I’ve crossed it off and will just fly back later and ride from Reno to Texas. One less thing I have to worry about now.

This thread isn't the same scenario - but its a worst case for too much weight on the back. Its one thing to put a couple bicycles or a generator on the factory hitch if you stay within its rated capacity. Modifying the frame and adding more weight gets into a whole different can of worms.

Edit: never mind - just saw the OP's update...
