My main coach thermostat accurately controls the heat in front part of the coach. The one in the bedroom does not turn heat on.
The fan works but not the heater.
Is that control only for the airconditionerd?

1. Is this a new to you Miranda?
2. Did the heat ever work to your satisfaction?
3. When you say heat, do you mean your furnace?
4. Can you provide a photo of both your thermostats?

Class A Mirada. New to me. Both thermostats look the same. yes Furnace.

As others have said, typically one thermostat will control one A/C unit plus the furnace, the other thermostat controls the other A/C (only) unit. It is very common for one to not have a heat function at all. Though some you can buy a heating element and install into the A/C to give it both functions, but those typically arent controlled by a thermostat, but rather controlled by knobs on the unit itself

Like Larry-NC noted, some have a heat pump where the air will come through the ceiling, but more than likely your heat will only come from the floor using the furnace. And the furnace is only controlled by the one main living area thermostat.

And welcome to the forum

We are also newbies, we have a 2024 Coachmen Mirada with two units in it and they both have heat pumps in them (I think). The main thermostat does as previously mentioned, runs the furnace in the entire coach.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong, but I think both units provide heat through the heat pump setting.

Only one thermostat controls the heater. Normally the front thermostat. On my Fifth Wheel, we have two air conditioners. The rear thermostat only controls that rear A/C and fan. The front thermostat controls the front A/C and the heater.
