I have a 2025 Europa 32KD and love it. Has anyone had to double up the lower main slide bulb seals so it will seal. The slide is all the way in and in the middle of the slide the lower seal has is a gap (7/16”). The ends are good. The body of the motorhome has a “wow” in it when I look down the side. I talked with Dynamax and they said I would have to double up the seal.

If you have a 2025 unit then all should be covered under warranty. I would even question having the "wow" fixed before the extra seal. You can do through your local Forest River dealer. Depending on your location/travel plans you can make arrangements to take it the Dynamax factory in Elkhart, IN for repair. I've a 2024 Isata 3 and I've been there 3 times for repairs. One of my repairs was the slideout unit was not properly attached to body, caulking missing and screws on angles...they fixed. Everytime I go there there are other Dynamax owners there for repairs, so is common event. You can go to Dynamax website for who to contact there. Good Luck.

Yes, I have this issue. 2024 32KD. The gap in the middle was not only on the secondary lower seal, but also on the primary seal so there was air/water flow up the center of the main slide when closed because the slide room bows out in the center quite a bit. J&L added a third rubber D seal that sits opposite the primary (higher) seal so there is contact across the whole slide bottom. We have not had rain in So Cal since the beginning of last year, so I have not yet been able to confirm we have a resolved water ingress problem. If you do a search, there is another thread with information on this too.

Here is the other thread, post 71-73 is on the D seal with pictures.

I guess I'm wondering why on a 2025, the factory would not resolve this for you and expect you to remedy the issue?
I'd say this is certainly a "wow" moment for sure!

Here is a video I sent them before the D-Seal was installed to explain the issues, a lot of this covers the bow in the slide. They can send you the D-Seal for a self install, but I would check everything else too. I only knew the extra seal was an option because MVD had one installed at the factory as noted on the other thread. I am too far from the factory to feasibly ever go there.

I talked with Dynamax and they are sending me some bulb seal so I can double them up to seal. I am thinking of putting a rubber strip on the backside of the slide trim then the bulb seal, that should work to get both seals to seal. I was really just curious if anyone else had this issue and it seems they do.

Our '22 Force 34KD was bowed out in the middle of the long kitchen slide. We took it into Elkhart Service. They corrected it as best they could. At least we don't get invaded by insects. This should be covered under warranty, ours was.
Not sure what options for warranty work you have out on the West Coast. But it's not a job I would readily trust to a dealership.

My 2023 GT7 36K has the same BOW; I do not feel so alone. Mine was bought as a second owner; the first owner had it for one trip for two months and four thousand miles and traded it in for a diesel (that is what I was told). I have not had leaks yet. any suggestions about next steps?

Thanks for the video, it was very helpful

If there is an air gap in the center past both upper and lower seals add the D seal opposite the upper seal. You may be able to get it from Georgetown. It is just soft D with a preinstalled adhesive strip. There is really no way to take the bow out of the room.

You might find that there is, at least to a great extent. But mine was done at the Dynamax facility in Elkhart. I would think that it might be more of a challenge for the dealers.

I'd be more interested in what Dynamax is doing to resolve this chronic problem.

I had to have mine completely redone as well. I was getting up to a gallon of water going down the road in the rain last year in May. I was in the coach yesterday, and it is still leaking a bit after being in the shop from July to January of this year.
