Has anyone upgraded their TV on their TT? I have a small TV that hooks up to the wall outside of the bedroom area. It's a pain in the ass to watch TV with the family because it sits 90 degrees to most of the seating available. I remember seeing a post somewhere about someone installing a 50 inch TV on the wall that leads to the main bedroom. They mounted the TV using an adjustable swivel mount so that they could turn the TV at an angle and everyone could watch. Any idea on this? Has anyone maxed out their TV space on the main bedroom wall? By the way, I have a Cherokee Alpha Wolf 26DBH. The wall I am talking about is the first one on the right when you enter the trailer. Now that I think of it, it is literally the only wall that you can use to mount a TV on most trailers lol

Our Puma came with a TV swival mount but I can't remember what size it was ( think it was 40 someyhing) and the bedroom TV had a bracket you could mount outside as well.

I moved the mount to our new trailer (2017) but a 50" was too big for the opening.

Bumping this up since I only got one reply and it was a while ago. Thanks Oaklevel for replying. Im still trying to figure out if I can mount a 50 inch TV on the wall that separates the bedroom area. I thought I read a post on here from someone that did just that but I could not find it. The wall currently has the plastic cleat adapter that came with the trailer. I never got around to use it because they did not supply me with the screws to connect the other half to my TV. I lay the TV on the bed while traveling and then post it on the shelf above the fireplace using the stand it came with.

Its a pain in the ass watching TV from that point because it is at a complete 90 degrees from most of the seating space. I would like to install a swivel mount that would allow me to move the TV at a better viewing angle. I purchased a TLC 50 inch TV that only weighs 15 lbs. I have no idea how much the TV mounting area can hold. Anyone have any input on this? Thanks.

I had a 48" in my 5th wheel. It replace a 32". I don't know the weight difference, but the 32" was older and thicker, and the weight difference was probably minimal. I put a telescoping/swivel mount on the wall so I could pull the TV out when I'm watching it, and angle it any way I needed it. For travel, I would push it back to the wall, then secure it with a flat bungee cord. This ensured minimal bouncing. I did have a 2X6 at the mount point, so I'm sure the weight was fine. I never had any issues with it at any rate. It traveled fine and never showed any sign of issues related to weight. Hope this helps.
