A day in the life....

We put a topper on our stock mattress, love it. Can't please everyone, what's good for one not the other.......

Why not make bed platforms to the residential market? In 40+years from TTs to a DP to 5ers not one had a mattress that was comfortable that would last. Every RV on the lot will have the optional king bed. Our DP and every 5er had one, everyone. I took a saw to every platform and bought a real queen mattress

Make your own bed

DIY that is. For less than $150 I went to the foam factory on line and ordered a 4” medium firm queen blank and a 2” extra soft queen blank. I used an electric carving knife to cut them down to rv size and put them back in the original zipper ticking. Lighter and better than the rebond/batting filled mattress that came with my wolf pup.The rebond batting got reused on my boat for bench seats. The foam factory sells zipper ticking too. They were a dream to work with and free shipping. Www.foambymail.com

I know you have a tough job listening to all of our complaints. I have a new 2020.5 ISATA 3 RW and have put about 3,000 miles on it. Other than a few issues with it, it is a great rig. Most of the issues were fixed. One was the cruise control that was a Mercedes problem that they at first tried to blame on the upfitter (Dynamax) but I got that straighten out and repaired. The other was the center console of the theater seats was not connected to any electrical out. Dealer found that there is only a 2 socket outlet behind the seats and added a power strip to plug the console into. Problem solved! The only problems that we can't correct is the rain gutter downspout dumps right onto the exterior mirrors and stains them. I got tired of having to clean them every morning and resorted to putting white plastic garbage bags on them every time we pull into a camp site or storage to keep them from staining so much that the mirrors are almost useless. This is not a pretty site, but gets the job done. Not a good recommendation to other campers on getting a Dynamax!! The other is the CCC, way too low and you can't take a toothbrush with you or you are overweight. Don't know how to fix that other than stay away from CAT Scales!! But we do appreciate you being on this forum and the way you address most problems and use them as corrective criticism and get with the engineers to get it corrected. OH, we took our mattress topper from our Class A and trimmed it for the I3 and it sleeps great!!! Keep up the good job!!

Well....as I mentioned before on the rain gutters...there are not a lot of options. Depending on how hard it rains, it changes the trajectory of the stream. I gave that task to production to figure out and I think I started seeing new gutters. They might be more of a 90 degree now. So I think there is a solution, it would just be changing that gutter part out. Not sure what that would take, but one I figure out what we did, I will pass on.

PS Mitch. If its just condensation from the AC, then why not just cap the front gutter??? Or create a tad bit of slope to the back? Then all the water drains away from the front and out the rear gutter???

You can set the null point to the jacks wherever you want. So once you get it level, drop the back end 1-2 degrees. Reset the null and that becomes the new level. Or...which is what I think I am going to do. Just cap the front gutter so that the water just heads to the back gutter. Problem solved.

Ours is comfortfied with a fantastic mattress topper! Queen size! The mattress that came with our 2016 Forest River 25 ft MBS with full slide is first rate! We also take care of it!
