I'm hoping to add some LED strip lights to the underside of my Riverstone 442MC. My plan is to find the control module on the Firefly system that controls the cap LED lights and tap into that for the underbody LED lights.

Has anyone added lights to a rig that is controlled by Firefly? Worst case, I'll simply find a power circuit and power the LED's from that and use an app or physical switch to the control the lights, but would be nice if they could be tied in with the cap lights.

Thanks in advance.

For anyone looking to do the same, I was able to use the Firefly diagram and find the 12V port that controlled the Cap light. I tied into the power source and trigger to add my LED lights. Worked like a charm.

I was looking to do the same on my Flagstaff 5er. I don’t have a Firefly but have another type of controller that uses the WeRV app to control lightning, slides and awnings. I was going to use the step light to turn on the underbelly lights but am unable to determine how much amperage the controller can handle. Because I don’t know I’m going to use the step light to trigger a relay to power the LED underbelly lights. That causes more work running wires so will be a project for another day.

The Firefly system only had the cap lights on the one circuit I tapped into, so I was lucky with that. It did take a little while to run the wires and determine how I wanted to make all the connections, but the final product looks great. Here was with just one of the four 16' strings installed.

Good luck with your install!!
