We are considering the purchase of a 2007 Silverback 32LFG. We currently own a 2001 Dutchman Sportsman 26L and are looking for a little more room but also an upgrade in quality. We tow with a 2005 Dodge 2500 4x4 with a cummins diesel. We do not want a 5th wheel since truck is needed for work. We are currently considering a 2007 32LFG with 3 slides, slide toppers, and all the other goodies. The price is $17,000 including our trade. Does this sound reasonable? Any experience good or bad with the 32LFG?

We decided to not purchase the above TT. It was a custom build and the floor plan did not work for us. What other Forest River TT models are similar in quality to the 32LFG Silverback but a little smaller (28 to 30 ft.). We like most of the upper end 5th wheels we look at, but can't use a fiver due to truck limitations - other uses. Thanks and would appreciate any help.

If you install the newer 5th-hitches with the rails under the truck bed..you would have full use of the bed when not towing.

Thanks. That is an excellent idea. However we recently (picking it up Friday) purchased a new 2010 Jayco 322 FKS Travel Trailer.
