After having a blowout that caused substantial damage to my TT, and after the shop finished the repair, I found this loose wire hanging from my brake wiring. Can someone tell me where it goes? It’s a white wire that appears to go into a small black rubber junction. IMG_1944.jpg

Looks like a wire for that wheels brake. Needs to be reattached for the brake on that wheel to function.

Goes into that "rubber junction" and you'll probably see an empty hole where it came from.

The guy who did the original repair is responsible until you try to fix it yourself, then you own it and everything that follows

Exactly. The shop needs to finish the repair. If they are reluctant, send the pic to your insurance adjuster.

Yep, that's a wire to your brake magnet. It belongs in the Scotchlok connector. Without it connected, you have no brake on that wheel.

I’ve heard that a quick test to see if your brake magnet is working or not…..

Have someone hold an old fashioned compass near the wheel, then with the tow vehicle and trailer connected, have another person apply the brakes in the tow vehicle to see if the compass needle is pulled toward the brake magnet.
