Another slide adjustment question

So I’ve done several slide adjustments in the past but this one has me sort of stumped. Hopefully my description will be good enough but I can post photos if need be but it won’t be till later.
I have a Puma with two slides. Both are Lippert under the floor rack and pinion type. Front (living room) slide works perfectly. The bedroom I just noticed and probably has been like this from day one. It’s only a couple months old....
The slide seems ok as far as side to side and top and bottom. The issue is that when I slide it out, the bottom hits the wall first and stops before the top has had a chance to completely seal the top. There is no gap at the bottom and enough gap at the top (equal on both sides) I can almost put my finger into. If I push on the top of the slide, it shakes so there is room to go.
The only adjustment I know of I’ve copied and pasted from the manual below but I’m a bit leary of doing that since it’s hitting on the bottom already. Any other thoughts? Thanks!!

Adjusting room so it seals in the OUT position
1. Locate the actuator coming through the frame.
2. On the end of the actuator, there is a threaded shaft mounted to the bracket with three nuts and a stop
can (Fig. 19).
3. Using a 1 1/8" wrench, move the 3/4" nut (Fig. 19:cool: and, using a 1 1/16" wrench, move the nylock nut (Fig.
19C) in either direction. This will change the location of your seal going to the "out" position.
4. Make sure all nuts are tight.

I have the same type slide on my trailer. When the actuator pushes the slide out the first to contact the wall should be the top and then travel just a little more until the seals along the side are in full contact with the wall.

It sounds like you may need to make adjustments at the the frame where it meets the end of the "rack's". I'm guessing that the wall of the slide is too high which tilts the slide itself inward. The bottom will contact first, leaving the sides and top away from the wall. With the slide out, crawl under and look at the corners of the outside wall. You'll see several slotted holes and jacking screws for adjustment. Look them over and you might see which way you need to adjust. Lowering (using the jacking screws) the outside end of the slide while out as far as it will go should square things up.

Hit up YouTube and you'll find several videos that cover the various adjustments on the Lippert Slides.

Thanks TitanMike! You’re talking about the vertical adjustment? I didn’t think about it that way but it makes sense. My front slide does hit closed on the top first and push in the bottom.
Thanks! I’ll have to give that a try.
