I don’t use it, but I do know that the booster button is for the reception for both of our televisions when using the OTA antenna so there must be connections on the backside.

I’m guessing the front connection is for yet another TV if you needed one, but I’ll wait and see if anyone answers.

It is for another TV.

It is for another TV but in the GT378 it would only get OTA antenna viewing because that winegard panel is bypassed in the GT378 for cable. That is why the OTA antenna booster switch has no affect on cable viewing (doesn't have to be off). The GT378 uses the external switching box for distribution of cable/OTA/SAT to the 2 (front/bedroom) TV's via a splitter fed by the output of the switching box. At least that is the way my 2012 GT378 is wired.

Good info Bubbles

After getting my cable tracer and cutting a larger access hole to see all the cables mine was cabled like Bubbles except the bedroom cable was direct to the sat for some reason.
I changed that arrangement and ran a cable down the vent (with the others) to a splitter so I can use all functions for park/sat and antenna
All work is done
Thanks all for the info

Guess I could have posted this for my GT378 also:
