Has anybody ever cracked the screw-on retainer ring on their power cord? (See photo of mine). If so, how did you fix it?

Ours has been cracked for years. It only gets so tight then jumps the threads. Have never had an issue with power loss though.

After seeing all the power connection issues, I think I'll stick to my pull out cord. Never had a problem stuffing it back in the TT. If its wet ,I just wipe it off with a rag.

Scuff it up a bit, then dental floss wound around and around, then some epoxy.

You’ll need to warm up the the plug a little to get the new one on. I left mine in the direct sun on a warm day and was able to slip the new locking ring on.

I broke mine 3 years ago. I wrapped it tightly with Vinyl electrical tape and it has stayed on and it screws tight

Yes I have. Make sure it is locked and take any down ward strain off it and feel of it in heat of days to make sure is is locked and not warm to touch.

You aren't telling me you are having a problem with that quality designed piece of equipment.

$18.00 FOR A REPLACEMENT THAT IS WORTH 2 BUCKS TOPS. INTERESTING LARGER ONE COST LESS. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Just another fail by design in the rv industry. Anybody want to buy some furniture that looks like it has Shingles?

I have made some good repairs with Bondic it is a UV glue. One was on my Laptop compute case cracking by hinge. I has been 5 months still going. So far it makes good plastic repairs.
