I have an Atwood Water Heater Model GC6AA-10E, Spec# 08/18/14. On our last trip, the electronic ignition failed to fire. After cycling the switch a couple of times it lit. But the new concern is that there is a humming noise coming from the electronics that can be heard when standing outside at the back of the trailer where the grill is located. This noise continues even when the water heater switch is in the off position. After the trip, I pulled one of the wires in the heater compartment until the humming stopped incase it decided to make something really bad happen. Anyone have this noise, concerns something is about to fail, or fixing ideas?
Thanks.
Ken
Never mind. My wife had flipped the electric switch on while we were boondocking. Fortunately I read forums that talked about humming noise associated with electric. I went and checked at storage and sure enough the electric switch was on. That explains why she couldn't get hot water too!
Thanks.
