Auto level Question Big Foot

Auto leveled twice yesterday and both times it was right on but the left rear wheels came off the ground.
I didn't feel compfy with that so I noted the jacks position when auto leveled brought them up and manually leved with wheels down.
Is it "OK" for a wheels up level?
Doesn't seem safe and that's a lot of weight on that 25 square inch foot.
Any opinions and experience that hasn't already been discussed on the other thread?

I prefer to have all wheels on the ground (or blocks) when leveling. If you have to have wheels off the ground, it should be the front, never the drive wheels. By the way, I never use the auto level. I'm never satisfied and I think I do it faster manually anyway.

trdutch remember when you lift the rear wheels off the ground your parking brake and park position of transmission not NOT in play anymore, so if you do not have front wheels chocked there is nothing stopping the very top heavy motor home from moving since you are on a slope mostlikely anyways. May never happen but why take the chance ????

I prefer not to have them off the ground but in rare cases I do. If I do have one off I do the following.

1. If the rear is off the ground I chock the front wheels
2. If possible I stick some leveling blocks under the wheel off the ground. Of course this takes some manual effort
3. I have the firestone air bags in the back. If the rears are off the ground it's recommended to first dump the air from the bags.
4. If a front wheel is off I don't worry much about it

I carry Lynx Blox (I call them Lincoln Logs) and if a tire comes off the ground, I lower, drive the wheel up on the Blox, then relevel. I try to NEVER have a rear tire off the ground, but sometimes you can't avoid it. Usually best with front tires on the Lynx Blox, but I'm not sure why....
