we have a 2022 Forest River Forester 2401 MBS with auto levelers. We have had problems getting them to level so we did a test. I wanted to confirm that the switch marked "Left" operated the drivers side levelers. Well, surprise. When I manually extend the "left" levelers, the rear drivers side jack extends and the front passenger side jack extends.
When I push the "right" switch, the opposite happens. Rear passenger jack extends and front drivers jack extends.
So there is no way to level from side to side, as the levelers form a cross.
When I operated the "front" switch, the two front jacks do in fact extend. "Back" does operate the two back jacks. It's the side ones that cross.
Anyone else have this issue and if so, are the hydraulics hooked up wrong or is it the wiring? If it's the wiring, is it in the control panel where the switches are?
Who the heck assembles these RV's????? Just for fun, they also switched the grey tank and black tank handles - grey operated the black and vice versa. Fortunately that was an easy fix....
Update: ours is the "Equalizer EQ Smart-Level" system
