The Dometic awning on our 2019 2608BS appears to be rolling up slightly crooked causing the support rails to misalign and not set correctly.
Videos mention 2 screws for adjustment but ours has only one at the upper front.
Correct?
Anyone dealt with this?
Anyone replaced this 20' awning?
Thanks

9100 series

The only adjustment screws I've seen on my 9100 is the small self tapping screws on the awning tube and awning track on the camper. These screws are removable and the awning and the awning tube (especially a 20 footer) will stretch and bend a little over time.
Try removing these little screw and realign the awning. Run it in and out a few times until you get it to close correctly and then put the little screws back in place. These screws hold the awning in place on the tube and the track on the camper

Mine is having the same issue - but one day the right side won't come in proper & the next day left side won't. Seems temperature dependent. Hot days means it won't come in proper.
Will be talking with dealer this week but anyone had feedback from FR on it?

I tried to slide the awning back in its upper track... didn't seem to budge.
Any one had better success?

Met with the dealer today for other (minor) warranty work. Thinking this may be a fabric issue for hot weather also after discussing & looking at everything. Will have Forest river notified to see if this may start the ball rolling (just like the Magic Chef frig)

The awning is connected to the big roller by sliding into a groove in the roller. When my awning gets out of whack I stand on a ladder at one end and pull the fabric an inch or two towards that end. Which way to pull the fabric is sorta obvious when looking at it, but I can't really explain in writing.

Awning rail alignment

Instead of pulling, I pushed on the overextended end to get it back in alignment.
I like your idea better.
However, I have not opened the awning since doing this. I do not plan to open it fully to see if that makes it seat correctly.
Any idea on the cost of a new 20' awning?

This is happening because the awning material as moved on the roller one way or the other . you can relive the pressure on the material and slide it on the roller the same way the arms are going and it will bring them back into alignment or move the material on the rail mounted on the unit the opposite way the arms are crooked
