Hello all! After quite a few years, my wife and I have returned to a Forest River product. We just purchased a 2017 Sunseeker 3010DS with full body paint. It has always been stored in a climate controlled indoor garage unless it was being used. It has 22,000 miles on the odo.
We just took possession of it this week and are transferring all our stuff from the Itasca Spirit to the Sunseeker. Normally, this could be done in an orderly, calm fashion, but we advertised our Itasca for sale and one hour later we were arranging a showing. Then, 24 hours later, we took a deposit and the rv will be gone on Tuesday. I never would have thought.....
Our last Forest River product was a 2010 Palomino truck camper which we loved. We have many fine memories of our trips and our relationship with Forest River. But after 7 years in the Palomino, we moved on.... Now we are ready to have more adventures and enjoy our Sunseeker and the Forest River family again. I plan on reading as much about the Sunseeker as I can on this forum. I'm sure we will have some questions because every model has its quirks!

Welcome back to Forest River and The Forum!

I'm sure your "new" Sunseeker will provide you with many miles of smiles. Camping and traveling friends of ours have a 2012 and they love it.

Stay in touch on the forum and share your adventures with us.

Obviously you priced your Itasca Spirit correctly and got faster results than you expected. Not sure I’ve heard someone with that problem before.
Congrats. Tons of help here. Just be sure to include the details of your questions, because not all 3010DS units are the same with appliances and such…..but it sounds like you already know that.

PS….
Maybe add more details of your profile to include more info than just Sunseeker…..or add it to your signature.

I forgot to add in my first post that our friend's model Sunseeker is also the 3010DS. They love prepping meals on the huge kitchen counter. They removed the small sofa and replaced it with two nice recliners. My wife and I had a great time watching Super Bowl 2024 in their rig at a campground in Huntsville, Alabama, guys in the recliners (of course!) and the girls in the roomy dinette.

I thought you were going to say “and the girls in the kitchen” because of the huge kitchen counter.

THAT would not have been politically correct no matter what!
