Amish Family only works on Cedar Creek units. OP has a Berkshire motor home. OP could ask the factory for a recommendation.
Certainly pragmatic and applicable, though somewhat factually incorrect. As an aside, Google caught a Georgetown parked out in front of the shop (not that it was necessarily there for work). Jaycos have been reported on property, as well.
While he’s DEFINITELY aligned with the brand that he’s come out of (Cedar Creek), Orvan and his crew have worked other makes, including - at least anecdotally - Keystone and Riverstone.
OP has asked about an Indiana repair facility for their Berkshire coach and described the problems. It’s a general (and not a platform specific) issue, and certainly sounds like something that Amish Family could tackle …
should they choose to).
OP is the one in the pickle. Doesn’t it make sense to reach out to a very highly regarded repair center in an attempt to see if the OP could be made whole (and, moreover, let Orvan decide what he wants to work on and what he doesn’t)... especially for a non-warranty job?
Alternatively, Shipshewana RV… another high quality repair center, co-located with the RV production centers:
RV Service
Seems like reaching out to the business themselves and asking about availability and interest helps solves the problem, no?
Of course, just my .02… your mileage may vary.
