I have a trip planned for 2014 that I need to be in Hartford Connecticut in mid June.
I have a Georgetown motorhome and pull a small toad and plan on staying on the interstates. I'm a experienced driver with the motorhome and can handle most situations.
I know the road well from Arizona to Oklahoma City to roads from OK to the NE is what I no experience with and most of my questions are related to that area.
Google Map say
OK City to St. Louis
St Louis to Indianapolis to Columbus Ohio then north to Youngstown Ohio across the middle of Pennsylvania then to Hartford Connecticut.

Questions
1. Do I have any major mountain passes on this route that you may know about?

2. If I took this route instead would it be more mountains but more enjoyable for the areas we cross. I-40 to I-81
OK City to Little Rock to Nashville to Roanoke Virginia up into Pennsylvania.
Does this route have many mountain passes I should be concerned with?

Thank you in advance.

I drove from PHX to Scranton PA a couple years ago, not towing or in MH tho.

I took the Google route you mention from St Louis. I-70 to I-71 to I-80. All Flat until you get on 80 in Western PA. It's has some ups and downs but no major passes. (I've driven I-80 many times)

I-81 through PA isn't one of my favorite RV routes. Hills, trucks, and 2 lanes of rough road and never ending construction.

As I recall (been awhile), I-80 across PA is pretty flat for most of it. If you went that way, you limit the distance on I-81 up to I-84 to CT.

One other scenic option is go up to I-90 in Ohio, then pickup I-86 near Erie PA and go across the very southern edge of NY. I-88 from Binghamton is usually fairly light as far traffic and a scenic drive. That would take you back to I-90 into Mass - but a little north of where you want to go... Otherwise in Binghamton, stay with 86 down to I-84 and across. That would take you through the Catskills, which is another scenic drive.
