black tank flush

I'm a Sewer Solution fan on full service sites so I'm not tripping over a giant drain hose -- nor do I have to store it. Leave the grey valve open until the last night then use that as a rinse the last day. Short Stinky Slinky fits in the hollow bumper and gets used when I use the Dump Site.

Four night Memorial Day weekend coming up at an Electric + Water site (no sewer) so I expect to have to offload much grey water into my wheeled tote and trundle it to the dump site. Black tank will stay closed until we leave and if there are obliviots spending a "hour" repeatedly draining and flushing at the dump site I'll just pump out at home with a maceration pump into a toilet just off the garage. By then Odorlos will have made this relatively simple.

Sewage is a prominent "hobby" with even a small travel trailer.

I rarely use my black tank flush and never have any problems. If I use it twice a year that's a lot for me. All you need is some good quality treatment with enzymes. A couple gallons of water in the tank when I leave the house and let it slash. If I were in a permanent site I'd probably use more often. My tank drains really fast so it takes everything with it.

That is correct. The black tank flush is a line that is routed to the far side of the black tank that you can use to run water into the tank to help flush it out.

There is probably a warning sticker on the trailer that says to not run the black tank flush with the dump valve closed. That is probably the safest way to do it, but I usually close the valve and let the tank fill up a bit before I dump again. The extra water helps flush things out a bit.

My new Flagstaff came with a control panel that I can hook up to via Bluetooth to an app on my phone. I can use that app to monitor how full my black tank is while I'm using the black tank flush to fill it. Pretty handy!
i bought a flow meter off of the south american store that attaches to the garden hose so i can see how many gallons went into the tank

"good quality treatment with enzymes".......would be very interested to know what you are using.
