Are any FR motor home owners with air brakes using Brakemaster as a supplemental braking system with their toads? I recently purchased a 2004 Reflection DP with a Freightliner chassis, but Freightliner advised me they do not authorize or condone altering, modifying or tapping into the air brake system to install a supplemental braking system.

I have the Brakemaster system on my Georgetown, that has a hydraulic braking system. I have an independent air compressor that applies the air pressure to the brakemaster in my car when I press the brakes. I didn't install this myself. I bought it though Camping World and had them do the installation.

Have you looked at the M&G braking system?

I really like the idea of this system as there is nothing in the way inside the toad to disconnect or move when you need to move your toad after disconnecting. I have looked at the Unified tow brake system before but I don't have a good location inside the passenger compartment of my Wrangler to mount the actuator.
