Stopped near a Bucee’s for the first time near Warner Robins Ga. Took the tow to back track a few miles and checked it out.

Maybe this question has been answered elsewhere but I can’t find it.

Bucee’s diesel price is so low compared to other places that I wonder about the grade. Is it #2 or is it a bio-blend? Didn’t see anything on the pump to indicate it is bio. Price here today was $3.16. About 50 to 70 cents cheaper than any place else.

Also had signs posted everywhere “ no semi’s allowed”.

Posted this on IRV2 also.

I was impressed at the prices in Daytona Beach. As you said way cheaper than anyplace, like a truck stop for RVs, so I read the pump, Low Sulpher diesel, no mention of bio which is required by law. Clean grounds, great food. I am a fan.

Just reading some posts that claim Buc-ees is 10% bio. Must have missed that at the pumps.

I don’t think you missed anything. I looked the pumps over really closely. Nothing posted about bio.

Upon further research it’s not required if the content is 5% or less. I think a lot of the stuff out there has some bio in it.

well folks i googled it. seems some of their places have a % of bio in it. Also read that if Not properly mix could create build up in bottom of tank. But all post i seen the OP stated the pumps had stickers saying what is in it.

"Also had signs posted everywhere “ no semi’s allowed”."

The reason no semi's are allowed is because the are billed for the local state fuel tax , RV's are not.

Its always wise to avoid the truck stops to pay the least for fuel.

Just read the pump to avoid bio gunk, .

Bucee's are a fun stop.Last summer we did a 7000 mile trip out west and back through over a dozen states and I would say over 95% of fuel stops had stickers on the pump stating at least 5% biodiesel and most said up to 20%. Biodiesel is now nearly impossible to avoid.

That’s why I tend to avoid Love’s.

As I said my research indicates if it’s less than 5% bio there’s no requirement for a placard or “sticker”.

never bad a problem with bio diesel added to diesel. pump says "MAY CONTAIN UP GO 10% BIO DIESEL. "i live in nkrth texas and doesnt gel up . most all new vehicle fuel stations in texas have rv lanes for trucks with rvs .away from car pumps or i can use the semi lane just have to prepay because you have to have a account set up to use semi lanes but it still is ok to use the semi pump lanes.

We used to have a local biodiesel station. It went out of business.
Biofuel is price competitive when dino diesel is over $4 a gallon or more.
Up to about 20% biodiesel gives good performance as long as the weather is above freezing most of the time. It does however clean out dirt from your engine and injectors. Carry a spare fuel filter, because an engine with some miles on it will spew some dirt with biodiesel. It adds lubricity which has been lost with the removal of sulfur.
