Hi... can anyone tell me the key #(s) for the outside TV and/ or battery compartment? I lost a spare key ring but luckily all outside cabinets are currently unlocked-except the TV cabinet. I rarely use it but tried this past week & realized I couldn't find my key aux keyring. The CH751 goes into both locks but doesn't turn... and neither lock has a key number etched on it like the shower & other big storage compartment does.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I would first use some dry graphite in the lock. Never apply or squirt any liquid into a lock.

Have you thought about calling a locksmith? Usually, all locks are keyed the same and the CH751 is standard. Perhaps a previous owner changed the lock to keep it from being a "standard" key.

I always needed 3 different keys to unlock the outside storage. Bought it used so maybe you are right. Do you put the graphite on the key? So will shaving a #2 pencil work?

All of my outside locks are keyed alike… They were hard to work(!) till i sprayed graphite directly into lock. Gook some tube from Lowe’s…
Good Luck

Get lock lubricant which is powered graphite available at most any hardware store that sells locks. No I wouldn't shave a pencil. Graphite lubricant is powder, and the applicator will spray it into the lock.

If that does not work the locks are common the cheapest way is to replace the locks and fairly easy. Take one out and take it to Lowes or a locksith shop.......

There is also a company on line

I have a 2019 Isata 5 and the key for the outside TV is CH507. I noticed if I looked closely at the lock, the number was etched on it.

Replace the locks. Cheap, easy, and will be more secure.

It will only be more secure if you pick a different key, other than the ubiquitous CH751.

I have heard many people say to change out the locks so that nobody can steal your stuff. Anyone with a cheap flat pry bar can open your storage compartments faster than you can with the key. I leave my 751 locks in place so that they can steal my stuff and not wreck my camper. It is easier to replace a couple of hundred dollars worth of stuff than the doors.

Yes, they are easy to break into, without any key. But why give dealers and service areas the EASY (no noise no apparent damage) opportunity when using the CH751 keys.

Your choice.

Funny, that number rings bells for me so I just looked in a box of old keys, some of which are from the 1970s. Yup I have a CH751 or two in there.

I wonder if after I'm dead someone will find these and decide to keep them (WHAT IF ONE OF THESE IS IMPORTANT!?!?!)
