Electrical Problems with Refrigerator

12v Furrion Regrigerator was working when new trailer arrived. Next day, 30amp fuse kept blowing in the circuit panel. Lights on Furrion (lippert) stove next to fridge not working. Pulled out fridge and electric panel on top was burned up (two 40 amp fuses were fused to the board.) Furrion (Lippert) said they are sending new fridge. when I disconnected wires going into fridge and checked them, they had an 8 volt reading. Not sure why they still had voltage with the 30 amp fuse blown. I replaced the 30 amp fuse and it was fine (did not blow) and then the wires (currently disconnected from the fridge) had the usual 12.6 volts. Now the lights on the stove started working.
This is somewhat confusing to me and without any electrical diagrams I want to be sure when I connect the new fridge, it doesn't also suffer the same "fried" status. Why would there still be voltage going to the fridge line if the fuse in the circuit box is blown (and the warning light on? Low voltage leads to higher amps but what caused this to start with? Any suggestions. I am working with the Lippert techs and will keep everyone posted. This is my first post so I don't know if I am doing this correctly - I just replied to my registration.

Have you gotten your new 12v fridge? Did you contact technical support at Cedar Creek about the problem? In my experience with Forest River, their technical support just refers you to the appliance manufacturer and doesn't take any responsibility for the problem.

Is it connected up? Was it done by the dealer or by you? What is the result?
