Coming to a Ford near you!!!!!!!! Isata 6 Series (Maybe F-Series)

Any issues with tire weight ratings on an F600 with the 22K GVW on an extreme package?

If so I think just a liquid spring option on an F600 would be a solid way to go as well.

On a 28SS are any frame extensions required or is it all factory frame allowing for more tongue weight and towing capacity?
The MPT81 tires are rated 6,780 pounds each at 68 mph (27,120 pounds total). The Petlas RM190 tires are rated 7,165 pounds each at 68 mph (28,660 pounds total) and 6,614 pounds each at 81 mph (26,456 pounds total). All of those weight ratings exceed the 22,000 GVW of the F600. As long as someone doesn't add the 4,500 pounds of tongue weight Brian mentioned they should all be safe.

The rear gross AXLE weight rating for the F-600 is 15,500 lbs., well in excess of the capacity of the tires mentioned. If it is spec’d lower, that 22,000 GVWR is going to be reduced.

Looking at all floor plans what I would jump right into is a 29SS with U shaped dinette and a larger kitchen working area (oh and please a gas stove). If it would be a 30SS - no problem.....

Just don't make it $400k+ MSRP 🤣.....

Yes, very much so - just add another foot to the kitchen as well :) .

A nice U shaped dinette seats 4 people comfortable and does not feel like an economy class airplane configuration at that point :D....

I'm sure that would also look fantastic on the Freightliner chasis......

Sorry, but I'm not a fan of u-shaped dinettes. In fact, it would be a deal breaker for me, as in no way would I buy an RV that had one. It's a pain to get in the back of the dinette. That's why you see them on the starter RVs that are designed for families with kids.

If its just two people (not a family) you wouldn't need to get into the back. Just sit where you normally would. The benefit of a U-shape, when it is the ONLY seating option (IE no sofa, or recliners) is that you can lean against the back wall where there are two of you, or lay long ways like a sofa, it is a little more flexible.
It is also wider than a normal dinette (78" vs 68" give or take) do if we option recliners, then you get a 3-seater like we do in our 34KD DX3.

I don't agree that it seats (4) people comfortably. It seats two adults and two kids comfortably.

That depends on the size. Ours right now is 82x45 which is bigger than your plan shows right now and provides good space for 4 adults when eating. I agree this is the perfect choice making a smaller RV without theater seating, etc.....

Just discussed the floor plan with my CFO and she's not happy about the tiny kitchen. It looks even smaller than in the current 28SS (which she is already considering tiny).

It is smaller, but it is to get a bigger shower (30x36) AND keep it the same length as the 30FW. If we want to be longer, we have the 30FW.

The issue is you are in a 29' Class A. With the truck front, you are adding 4'-5' of chassis so that same floor plan is 34'

Completely understand the Class C length issue vs Class A.

Still hoping to the this new design at a dealership near us :) - seeing is believing....

If you're going to do a U shape, I'd strongly suggest a movable/sliding table like the EarthCruisers or Ekko's (and others) have. That way you can make an eating surface, work desk at a proper keyboard height and a coffee table. Probably have to be a folding leaf as well. But would be an interesting option to have all 3 seating styles in one place in a shorter coach.

I gotta agree with Steve on this one. The U-shaped dinette just adds weight and cost and would never get used by most who choose a smaller sized coach. All the "benefits" you describe Brian I can accomplish with a pillow on the back wall.

We have testing on the F550, but only virtual testing on the F600. If I can get corporate engineers to combine the two and give me the OK, I have two kits on the ground right now.
Any updates on the F600 Extreme package? I've put myself in analysis paralysis mode trying to figure out which way to go for my next purchase.
