Need some advice...repair or replace door? We had a door come loose and fly open. The skin if fine but the frame is bent good. (The skin separated from the frame). My question is can the skin be removed and installed on a new frame or is a total replacement with new paint the only option.

A picture never lets us see what you can see as far as the total damage.
All slam latch doors like yours are, always hinge so that air pressure going down the road would push them closed so I’m not sure how yours got damaged.

Anyway.....see about removing the hinge hardware completely, and remove the door to see if that allows frame repairs. With a rig as old as yours now, getting the exact hardware and exact colour match is going to be very difficult.

I had the same thing happen on my suicide cargo door (2019 34QS). They were shut tight but not locked and came loose, slammed back and damaged the door behind as well. The aluminum was crinkled, the frame was bent and I had to have it fixed at the dealer. They ordered new doors and parts, replaced, painted and sealed. Very expensive but it looks brand new again. I have since adjusted the U bolts that the latch connects to for a more secure fit. I make sure to push in where the white latches are, both top and bottom, not just the handle. Before I hit the road I lock every door as well. Hard lesson.

Well...Step 1 check complete! Took door to local body shop and they repaired it.
Step 2 In progress Replace latches with metal ones
Step 3 Pending Reinstall door
Step 4 Pending check for proper operation
Step 5 Celebrate Crack open the closest available beer
