This was asked and answered earlier but I can't find it. Can someone recommend a modest-price multimeter with a clamp to measure DC amperage?
Thanks
Thanks
Unfortunately, it won't arrive until 2 or 3 months from now. That IS a super price!
Most of the inexpensive ones DO NOT read DC amps.
This one says it does!

I also bought this one and it's great.
I found this one which ReviewMeta scores as 4.2. But I have basis on which to judge the quality. I don't need 3 decimal place accuracy but are cheaper meters generally reasonable good?

It's on order. The one I linked to was cheaper but I had no validation of accuracy. Some reviews reported wide disparities when compared to known good meters. Your having compared this one favorably to your Victron monitor was enough for me to spend the extra $10.Forgot to mention that this one also includes the "no touch" AC power detection feature. Merely select this feature and hold pointed part of clamp next to wire. If it's live (with AC) it will beep and light up. Great for checking wiring that runs through cramped areas with just enough room for hand and forearm. No need to find a nearby connection to that line.
From the user manual:How low will the CM06 read in milliamps for the DC clamp-on function and what is its accuracy? Tacklife no longer has it listed on their web site.
Thanks,
Ray
From the user manual:
AC/DC current
Range, resolution
6OA, 0.01A
600A, 0.1A
Accuracy:
"+/- (0.4% reading + 10 digit)"
Thanks. So 10 milliamperes resolution. Is there any notation that the clamp-on portion is different?
Sorry for the questions but I’m unable to find a copy of the user manual online.

Mine is out in the trailer but i believe that the clamp is the only way to measure current.
