Hi All, I have 315thb Artic Wolf 5th wheel and have had it for five years now and about a year ago the battery shut-off switch failed, and the dealer replaced it.

Ever since he swapped out the switch, i can not run the trailer directly from the truck, the battery needs to be charged and in place.

I have tested that there is power coming from the truck to the battery so that is all good it's just not able to run the trailer jacks, inverter etc.

When he swapped out the switch, I remember him removing a red wire with a connector on both ends as he said it was no longer needed with the new switch, which I believe now is my problem.

I have included some pics of where the power comes in, goes to the switch and then onto the trailer, I believe this "unneeded" wire is the problem, so hoping someone has a picture or some help that I can use to put it back together properly.

Thanks everyone, as even though I have had the trailer for 5 years, this is the first post to the forums :)

Battery disconnect is rather broadly defined. In my mind it means nothing is connected to the battery. Reading the forum, I see that is not true and have learned that everyone has different levels of disconnect.

Not sure where a missing jumper would fit in to solve the issue but it may still be a simple matter. If your 7-pin is currently connected to the battery all the time (switch position doesn't matter), then I would say that the 7-pin wire going to the switch can be moved to the other terminal. It's on the battery side of the switch now, move it to the load (switched) side and you should be in business. This assumes that the smaller red wire to the switch comes from the 7-pin.

Thank you I will try that and report back. Appreciate your time.
