I have a new to us 2023 forest river glen elite 36fl. Has city water inlet, water tank, black water flush then one inlet that’s not labeled. Reason I ask is I wanted to flush the rear black tank and when I hook one to the black water flush or the one not labeled…. No water comes out of the stinky slinky. I don’t have the middle black tank hooked up to hose so haven’t tried that yet.

Pics are often more helpful than descriptions.

OP, your trailer is a Wildwood Heritage Glen. Forest River is the corporate name, not the brand name.
Therefore this thread is moved from the Tech and Repair section to the TT/5th Wheel section's Wildwood sub-forum.

I'm going to GUESS that escape pod is on the money and your unlabeled port i(lower right corner) is the antifreeze draw port...

Unfortunately, your owner's kit isn't specific around this, and only lists "if equipped" general instructions for use: Owner's Kit

Hope this helps.

Thanks so much for the “owners kit” that will be handy.
That so-called "Owners Kit" Owners manual will not have any model-specific nor brand-specific information. Just basic RV systems information.
Only the Component Manuals will have useful information.
A generic owners manual is the RV Industry standard.

You're correct, Dan, the Owners Kit is (mostly) basic, non-specific information and the Components Manuals are slightly more specific (for each component). However, it's important to recognize that the Components Manuals are a subset of said Owner's Kit...

I have a 23 Salem 36FL. Identical to your coach. That is the black tank flush for the half bath (front black tank). Amazing that they thought it made sense to mark one, but not the other, but at least they are consistent (mine is the same way). When I hooked mine up, nothing happened, until I determined the the check valve was installed backwards! Each black tank flush line has a separate check valve—one under each bathroom sink. Just in case you run into the same issue.

BTW, I installed a y adapter and two short hoses. That way, I only have to hook up the hose once to the black tank flush and can operate the valves individually to open/close each one individually.

Salem and Wildwood are twin brands, like Rockwood and Flagstaff. The only differences are usually outside graphics, interior decor and often a different model number.
