Complete set of tools in the truck and in the RV I carry a 12v air pump, a box of electrical connections and small vom tester. Also a torque wrench to check the lugnuts every day or so when on a long trip.

I carry to many tools, need to thin it out. I probably carry 150 pounds of tools in 2 boxes. One for electrical repair and one that's stocked with everything. It's to much

I'll echo all the above comments, and add that I've built the tool kit that I carry from the repairs I've had to perform. If it's something that I've fixed at home, or had to have fixed on the road, I'll add the needed tools to the kit.

One thing I haven't heard mentioned is stuff to fix stripped cabinet screws. I have had numerous cabinet hinge screws fail, and even some doors that broke apart (didn't appear to be glued well at manufacture)

To fix the stripped screws I carry: Wood Glue, 1/4" drill bit with drill stop, pre-cut 1/4" diameter hardwood dowels cut to 1/4" and 1/2" lengths. and an assortment of wood screws, and I always have a drill.

I've added spring clamps, and 24" and 36" Quick-Grip Clamps for repairing doors.

For power tools, I carry the Ryobi cordless tools with interchangeable batteries. I've got the drill, compressor, reciprocating saw (use large-tooth blade to cut firewood), and blower (cleans campsite pad in a jiffy), and searchlight... Don't have to mess with cords, and there's always a battery on the charger in the coach.

I also carry a soldering iron, solder, wire cutter/strippers, assorted wire gauges, heat gun, and heat shrink tubing for electrical repairs. I keep finding places with crimp connectors in my coach when they fail. Once I solder and sleeve the joints - no more problems...

And, I have a hot glue gun that's always in there...

This last trip I added a 15/16" combination wrench that fits the slide hydraulic cylinder. Would have saved a call to the mobile mechanic if I had one on board then...

There is a full set of everything SAE from 1/4 " to 1/2" drives.A hwole drawer dedicated to combi' wrenshesScrewdrivers,pliers, 2-torque wrenches,crofoot sockets, allan and metric sockets from tiny to 1". Full set of dewalt cordless 1/2" driver ,1/4" impact,grinder,skillsaw.worklite.and recip saw.Small drawers full of stuff I cant list cause theres so much of it!

Me too, plus electrical kit, over sized sockets for hitch and axle nuts as well as a spare set of bearings and a spare water pump. DW used to rant about "all that crap" until we needed the axle bearings on one trip and the water pump the time before. Now she just complains when I leave them laying out.

Oh lets not forget three gallon air tank/compressor.

I carry the aforementioned socket sets, screwdrivers, hammer, pliers, torque wrench, impact wrench w/sockets, assorted screws and small bolts, plus a PEX crimper and kit with extra clamps and short piece of hose the size of the water lines. Then the hydraulic jack, 12v air compressor, jump starter, and several ratchet tie down straps are in the TV. I also carry Gorilla tape, not Duck tape. Used Duct tape to repair some panel damage a year ago and it didn't get 50 miles down the road before it was flapping in the breeze. Cleaned off the goo and applied clear Gorilla tape to the same spot; stayed put for 6 months!

I also have a First Aid kit, flares, and the road triangles in the TV. Probably why I had to change to a heavier hitch! Well, that and the two 2,200 watt gensets and 10 gallons of gas!

Yes. Got a all-in-one kit for basics and also keep channel locks, saw, hatchet, small shovel, duct tape, bailing wire, zip ties, extension cord, rope, cordless drill, asstd screws and nails, compressor, bottle Jack, extra fuses and cable connectors, multi tester, and more.
Kit has pliers, wire cutters, hammer, screw drivers, tape measure, allen wrenches, razor scraper, etc. Over kill? Lol

Yes I carry a mid sized tool kit but I don't carry duct tape, I carry gaffers tape.

When I was flying EC-47s in Nam, we only had two tools on board: a hammer and a saw. If you couldn't fix it by beating on it, then you just cut it off since you probably didn't need it anyway!
May sound silly, but I always carry a few extra things that may help the other guy. Good way to make friends. Admit it, some of you do too.

I haven't used anything in it the last four weeks I've been out camping. Never even opened it. I think I'm going to start weeding it out. It weighs almost 100 pounds.

I keep a tool kit (one of those 150 piece kits). A tool box with other add on tools and specialty things like better pliers, silicone emergency repair tape, multi meter wiring tools. Keep an air compressor and fittings for tires and toys. Lots of Duck Tape, WD40 and a cheap drill that always seems to have a dead battery..

i keep a fairly basic set on board. (small socket set, couple wrenchs/pliers, hammer, and a few screwdrivers with changeable tips)

Don't forget the channel locks! I also keep an 18 V Harbor freight cordless drill, impact wrench and flashlight. On the impact wrench, it is only a quarter inch, I keep an extension and socket and use it to raise and lower my levelers. Saves a lot of time and work.


Also super or krazy glue as well as as epoxy to fix water leaks.
