I noticed water coming out from under the left of my toilet opposite side from my foot pedal where the water valve is. Seems to only do it when you flush? Maybe flush valve needs replacing or toilet replacement? Don't know what model toilet. Dometic basic I'm guessing. Took vid and pix around the toilet but no stickers to find the model??
TIA Mike

Before you replace it, these toilets have a plastic 'ring' similar to the wax ring on residential toilets. They aren't very sturdy and occasionally need replacement.
If it's the valve, you should be able to feel moisture on the valve itself.

No water around the valve just coming out from underneath the toilet. Maybe the flange needs replaced? Guessing it is a 300 model. Water stays in the bowl.

Oh dear. A 300 model.
Those are notorious for not flushing properly and keeping urine within the toilet plumbing until the smell gets overwhelming. A direct replacement is the 310 model which most people switch to.

So the flange is a definite possibility. We had to replace ours in our tt. Finding the correct flange was the hard part.

I've decided to replace the flange, water valve and toilet seal valve just to be safe. Will have the toilet out anyway. Nothing but money as they with it say.

If it is the Dometic 300 model, the best solution is to remove the toilet, put it in the trash, and replace it with a Dometic 310. Problem solved.

The 300 model, all plastic, is noted to accumulate waste between the inner bowl and the outer base. It is nasty and will smell!

Wear gloves and a mask and eye protection. Remove it and toss it!

I know, I did exactly this and the result is VERY satisfactory.

Whatever you decide to do, be sure and keep the bolts above the hole in the floor. They’re not easy to fish out.

Just replace the toilet. Even if you fix it now, it will happen again and again and...
